Think Differently Idea:
Professional Eulogy
In this section, we offer an idea to inspire you to think differently.
Exercise: Write your own professional eulogy.
Fast forward to the end of your professional career and imagine what will be said about you. Grab a pen and paper and write out your answers to these questions:
What words will be used to describe me as a professional?
What will they say about the work I did?
How will they describe what it was like to work with me?
What is the #1 thing that I would like to be remembered for in my career?
Then set it aside for a couple of days. Come back to it then and think objectively about where you are today. Will the trajectory that you are on now make it happen? Are changes needed? Talk about it with someone. Melanie would be happy to visit with you during a free consultation. Schedule a time here:
