Meet Melanie Hall
When other little girls knew they wanted to be an actress, an architect, or even an acrobat when they grew up, I found it too difficult to choose just one career path. It was less important to know what I wanted to be and more important to chase what I wanted to do. I wanted to help people–real people with real needs in meaningful ways.
This pursuit to help others led me to leadership positions in philanthropy, education, and healthcare. I have worked in the private sector, the nonprofit sector and collaborated with the public sector. I have held seats in boardrooms and sat side-by-side with small business owners around their kitchen table. I have seeded community gardens and grown several startup organizations. I have worked with professionals at their highest highs and lowest lows. I have received national recognition as a social entrepreneur and a hero award when my youngest son was in second grade. These experiences, while diverse, all share the theme of helping others.
Today, I help others through Illuminate Business Services. I approach each professional relationship with respect for your understanding, a commitment to your goals, and a relentless pursuit of simple solutions that lead to sustainable success. Creating value for you is my highest priority.
